Older road users safety

Improving safety and confidence for older road users.

From time to time we run courses and programmes that aim to help older road users feel safer and more confident as they travel around the community.

Waka Kotahi Staying Safe Refresher Drivers workshops

Want to refresh your driving skills and knowledge to stay safe driving on the road? This free joint initiative between Age Concern and NZTA Waka Kotahi provides an opportunity to review your driving practices and your knowledge, with the use of videos and discussion with a driving instructor, it makes for an interactive fun session and has plenty of time for questions.

This classroom based workshop is free of charge. It will also increase your knowledge about other transport options and help you remain independent for longer.
