Public notice of application for a renewal of an on-licence with variation of conditions

Section 101, Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Hotel Motueka 2017 Limited, 77 High Street, Motueka 7120, has made application to the District Licensing Committee at Richmond for the renewal of an on-licence with variation of conditions in respect of the premises situated at 77 High Street, Motueka known as Hotel Motueka.

The general nature of the business conducted under the licence is that of a hotel.

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is sold under the licence are:

Monday to Sunday 8.00am to 12.00 midnight – front and rear outside areas

Monday to Sunday 8.00 am to 2.00 am the following day – front bar, dining area and garden area.

The applicant has applied to vary the conditions of the current licence by extending the licensed area to include the rear car park area with licensed hours of Monday to Sunday 10.00am to 9.00pm.

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the office of the Tasman District Licensing Committee at 189 Queen Street, Richmond.

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the licence may, not later than 25 working days after the date of the publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at Tasman District Council, Private Bag 4, Richmond 7050.

No objection to the renewal of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
