Mobility parking permits

Apply for a Tasman parking permit.

You are able to use any designated mobility car parks, whether public or private (eg Richmond Mall). All parking is free in the Tasman District but time limits do apply.

Where time limits apply, there will be an appropriate sign. Generally, vehicles parked in mobility parks receive an extra 50% amount of time indicated by the sign, for example;

• If a sign states P60, someone with a mobility parking permit will be allowed to park in that space for 90 minutes.
• If no accessible parks are available people with mobility parking permits can use ordinary parks and receive the same courtesy regarding time.
