Looking to open in April this year, the ashphalting/major works has been completed. Below is an in-action shot of the work.
What are we doing?
Upgrading the current dirt BMX track with a versatile, fun, all-weather, all-purpose facility that can cater to all ages and all skill levels for any choice of wheels – this could be bicycle, skateboard, scooter, roller blade/state and anything else in-between.
Why are we doing it?
As part of the Three Water funding tranches from Central Government, there is a fund called ‘Better off Funding’. Tasman District Council were given money as part of the Better off Funding to go towards a variety of projects across the region. One of the funding applications was for a pump track.
