Wai-iti Community Dam

The Wai-iti Valley community storage dam was completed in 2006 and is designed to capture and store up to 800,000 m3 of water from rainfall and catchment run-off. The dam operates by controlled releases of water back into the natural river during the irrigation season and dry summer months. Data from the raingauge at the dam is available at this page.
