LIMs

Everything you need to know about requesting a Land Information Memorandum, how much it will cost, and what it will contain.

Please note that the statutory clock for LIM Reports stops on 20 December 2024 and restarts 13 January 2025. We will not be issuing LIM Reports over this period.

If you are considering purchasing a property in the Tasman District we recommend getting a LIM before finalising the purchase.

Request a LIM online.

The LIM will detail the information that the Council has on record about a property, and it'll be reviewed by specialist staff to ensure we've included all relevant information for you.

A LIM can take up to ten working days to deliver, although we do aim to complete the work in the shortest timeframe possible.

Tasman District Council is a Unitary Authority, meaning that both Regional Council and District Council information is included in your LIM - so it's very thorough.
