Regional Pest Management Joint Committee

About the Committee

The Regional Pest Management Joint Committee is a joint committee of Tasman District Council and Nelson City Council.

It has been formed to guide the review of the Regional Pest Management Strategy (in its new form it will be known as the "Tasman-Nelson Regional Pest Management Plan").

This will include overseeing the consultation with key stakeholders and carrying out hearings and deliberations on submissions as required under the Biosecurity Act 1993.

The Joint Committee will make a recommendation to each Council on the adoption of the final Plan.
