Artist Chrissy Zesk
Chrissy Zesk mural (first image above) depicts statues of Dionysus and Ariadne in his signature illustrative style. Dionysus is the god of nature and fruitfulness and vegetation, especially known as a god of wine which ties in the the vineyards opposite the mural. It also features bright tennis balls as a reference to its location on the tennis club.
Sean Duffel's mural (second image above) features his trade mark style to brighten up the end wall with a tennis character linking it back to the club.
Alongside the tennis courts at Jubilee Park in Richmond.
Chrissy Zesk has painted many murals in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
His work ranges from large scale productions where his weapons of choice are cans of spray paint, to digital works. His style stems from 15 plus years of painting street art/graffiti and taking those elements and evolving them into a unique, illustrative way.
