Safe pedestrians

Watch out - zebras crossing!

The Council has zebras are available to highlight school zebra/pedestrian crossings and to educate vehicle drivers and pedestrians.

The campaign is a Tasman District Council initiative providing an opportunity to remind you that:

• Vehicle drivers to look for students walking and cycling to school
• Highlight the location of school crossings
• Best practice for students about the correct way to use the crossings and the safest place to cross the road.
