On Android, click on the three little dots at the top right of the screen (the menu) and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
On an iPhone, click on the box with the up arrow at the bottom of the screen (the menu) and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
Before you can use this app, you will need a logon and password. The Council compliance team can set this up for you. If you have more than one metered well or are responsible for more than one record, these will be clearly identified once you log on.
Telemetry can be used to remotely monitor the water meter usage. A reliable telemetry system removes the need to do manual weekly water meter returns. A list of accredited data host providers can be found on
Water meter readings can be directly emailed to a dedicated inbox.
If you have more than one metered well or are responsible for someone else’s readings, it is important that the readings you send to Council are clearly identified e.g. by recording the consent number and the well number.
While Council encourages the above electronic methods, prepaid cards for weekly water meter readings can be supplied to consent holders not making electronic readings.
Cards and a set of labels with consent details will be supplied so your readings are identified when received by Council.
