Submissions Closed: 4:30pm on Friday 23 March 2018
The applicant asked Council to suspend the processing of the application. This suspension is due to expire on 1 February 2019.
We have not set a date for the Hearing yet.
You can download a copy of the application documents or view the submissions through the links at the bottom of this page.
The applicant asked for the processing of the consent application to be put on hold under s91A of the RMA, while they talked to submitters. They asked for and obtained an extension to this supension period. A copy of that request and the Council's decision is located in the documents below, in the folder '03 Other material'.
The next step usually involves going to a Hearing. At a Hearing the decision maker(s) considers the evidence from everyone, and submitters who wanted to be heard can explain in greater detail their submission. We do not have a date for the Hearing yet.
If you made a submission and said you wanted to speak at the Hearing, we will email or write to you to tell you its date. When we let you know that date, we will also inform you exactly when the Council planner's recommendation on the application will be available on our website, which is at least 15 working days before the start of the Hearing.
The applicant also has to give the Council their evidence 10 working days before the Hearing, and we will make it available to you via links from this web page.
If you are a submitter and you are getting technical specilalists (eg a planner or some other professional) to provide evidence to support your submission, we will need a copy of their expert evidence at least five working days before the start of the Hearing.
If you are a submitter and have any questions, they can be emailed to the Council at firstname.lastname@example.org.
