Tasman Regional Land Transport Plan

Proposed transport activities for the region, developed in partnership Nelson City Council and Marlborough District Council.

This plan sets priorities for state highway, Department of Conservation and Council transportation initiatives and includes the Regional Public Transport Plan.

It also forms the basis for the New Zealand Transport Agency to decide which proposals will be included in the National Land Transport Programme.

Regional issues and priorities for addressing land transport projects in the Tasman District include:

  • Alignment with national transport policy;
  • Top of the South transport problems;
  • Top of the South objectives;
  • Top of the South transport activities;
  • Tasman District specific transport plan;
  • Public transport plan.
