There are several different public art projects in the Tasman region that brighten up our streets, parks and other outdoor areas. You can find out more information on each of them below.
Examples of public art are murals (on walls, roads or footpaths), street art (tags and graffiti) and sculptures. Projects are most often funded with public money and managed by local Councils, Art Councils or other charitable trusts, but public art funded by businesses is gaining more popularity as well.
